Description
Material:
Wool and Bamboo silk blend
This blend brings together the strength and warmth of wool with the soft, luminous appeal of bamboo silk. Wool, known for its durability and natural resilience, forms a strong foundation, while bamboo silk—derived from the cellulose of bamboo plants—adds a cool, silky texture and a gentle sheen. The result is a rug that’s both sturdy and elegant, with a subtle luster and a plush, inviting feel underfoot.
Technique:
Hand knotting
Produced on a vertical loom, the hand-knotted technique includes manual weaving the strands tightly to the warp by knots. The size of the knots used is what creates the difference in the variety of the rug while the number of knots influences the density, pattern and sturdiness.
