Description
The Pietracotta di Paestum collection draws inspiration from the territory of the archaeological site itself, a large city of Magna Graecia originally called Poseidonia, in honor of the god of the sea Poseidon, but extremely devoted to Hera and Athena. Located between Cilento and the Amalfi coast, the ancient city of Paestum is famous for its three Doric-style Greek temples dating back to around 600 – 450 BC. Paestum is rich in history, thousand-year-old culture and is infused with shades of color , never banal, which distinguish this wonderful land, rich in charm and history.
And the same nuances of the sea, the sky, the moon, the mud, the earth and the lava, which invade the panorama of these ancient temples, have inspired the color palette of the Pietracotta di Paestum collection by Antiche Fornaci D’Agostino, which with their intense chromatic variations are easily placed in modern living in different contexts. The hardness, the technical characteristics of the stoneware and the modularity of its 40×40 cm format also allow it to be used in residential and commercial places. The Pietracotta di Paestum uno collection is a stoneware product that maintains the quality of traditional ceramic in terms of the supply of selected raw materials to highlight the vividness of the colors and resistance over time.
